Registry Account Management for the EU ETS, nEHS and the Voluntary CO₂ Market
In the European and national emissions trading schemes, the acquisition, transfer and issuance of emission certificates are handled via the respective registries. Errors in account management can delay operational processes and give rise to compliance risks.
We assist with the set-up and ongoing maintenance of accounts in the Union Registry and the nEHS Registry, as well as the transition of your registry account from the nEHS to the EU ETS 2. On request, we can take over the management of your registry account entirely, relieving you of the burden of ensuring the secure fulfilment of your submission and compliance obligations.
We also provide support for voluntary market registries, such as Gold Standard or Verra/VCS, assisting with the transfer and deactivation of emission reduction credits to support your contribution to climate protection. We are continuously monitoring the development of the planned EU-wide CRCF registry so that we can assess future requirements for trading in CO₂ removal credits at an early stage.

We assess which changes to the EU ETS, nEHS and, with a view to EU ETS 2, will be relevant to account management, roles, registry processes and organisational responsibilities.
Register Account Management in the Voluntary Market
We provide support for registry-related processes concerning the transfer and retirement of CO2 allowances, for example under the Gold Standard or Verra/VCS.
